Synopsis
Les anciens héros semblent être des cibles. Le Comédien a été assassiné, le Dr Manhattan exilé sur Mars, Ozymandias a failli être tué et Rorschach a été arrêté. Suspicieux, Le Hibou, Sally Jupiter réapparaissent pour mener l'enquête. En proie à leur éthique personnelle, à leurs démons intérieurs et face à une société se dressant contre eux, ils se lancent dans une course contre la montre pour dévoiler un complot hyper complexe qui risque de déclencher une guerre nucléaire à l'échelle mondiale.
