Synopsis
Monsieur Chu, un maître chinois de Tai Chi à la retraite, rejoint à New York, la famille de son fils Alex. Sa belle-fille américaine, Martha, peine à écrire son second roman et supporte mal sa présence. Alex va devoir lutter pour garder sa famille unie, prisonnier entre tradition culturelle et style de vie moderne à l'américaine.
