Synopsis
Dans la Moldavie du XVIIe siècle, la princesse Asa Vajda, soupçonnée de sorcellerie, est condamnée par l'Inquisition et meurt en maudissant sa propre famille, responsable de son sort. Au XIXe siècle, les docteurs Kruvajan et Gorobec, en route pour un congrès médical, découvrent en chemin le cercueil d'Asa et la réveillent par inadvertance. Celle-ci entreprend alors méthodiquement de se venger...
