Synopsis
De longues années après la fin du premier Gunbuster, les aliens réapparaissent. Au même moment, certains humains naissent avec des pouvoirs psychiques spéciaux: les Topless. Réunis dans une organisation dénommée la Fraternité, eux seuls peuvent contrôler un nouveau type de robots, les Gunbusters. Nono, une jeune fille sensible, rêve de devenir pilote spatiale.
