Synopsis
En Bavière, vers 1830. Victime des superstitions et se croyant frappé de malédiction après la mort horrible de sa femme, le comte Zorn a interdit à ses enfants de quitter le château. Il fait appel à un spécialiste en sciences occultes, ce qui ne manque d'effrayer les villageois. Poussés par un prêtre fanatique, ces derniers ne tardent pas à assiéger le château...
