Synopsis
En pleine guerre d'indépendance américaine, Gil Martin, un jeune colon de Deerfield, se rend à Albany pour épouser Lana Borst. Après la cérémonie, le couple part en chariot vers la ferme de Gil. En s'arrêtant dans une auberge, ils font la connaissance de Caldwell, un espion anglais qui porte un bandeau noir à l’œil…
